Sir ,
Assesee's(Indivisual) gross Income for FY2012-13 is Rs 545000.
80C deduction is Rs. 50000
Hence Net Income comes to Rs. 495000.
E-filing of return is compulsory in above case.?

E-filing of return is mandatory in case of an individual assessee if their Total Income exceed Rs.5 Lacs.
However, for individuals having salaried income more than Rs.5 Lcas or salaried income exceeds Rs.5 Lacs & the individual switch over their job in the financial year, then e-filing of return is mandatory.
