Restructuring of advances

09 March 2013 Can any Advance be classified as Standard upon restructuring ?

I am asking this because i read
when a standard asset is reconstructed it is classified as sub standard
when a substandard and doubtful assets are reconstructed they would continue to have the same asset classification
Loss assets cannot be restructured then
how can any Advance be classified as Standard upon restructuring ?

10 March 2013 Kindly refer to annexure 7 to the master circular issued on 2 July 2012 on Prudential norms on Income Recognition, Asset Classification and Provisioning pertaining to Advances.
