Requirement of filing of form 61

can you please tell me wheather it is requied to file form 61 to ROC alongwith form 25 A in case a pub. Company is going to get central govt. Approval for the appointment of Managing director under 269 of companies act.

If yes, under which section it is required

There is no need to file form-61 for Central Government approval. You just file Form 25A with CG with in 90 days from the date of appointment of MD under section 269 and Form-23 with in 30 days from passing of resolution in Board meeting.
