Please let me know if TDS on rent would be applicable if rent was paid in April to June'2010 and rent payment from April'2010 to March'2010 is Rs.10450/- p.m

TDS deduction is required as limit till 30.06.2010 is Rs 120000/- p.a.
Simply because the revised limits are applicable only from 01.07.2010 and not throughout the year with retrospective effect.
