Registration of a gratuity trust of a private limited compa

01 December 2016 Hi,

Ours is a private limited company in Andhra Pradesh.

We have recently formed gratuity trust for our company.

Is it mandatory to register our trust?

If not registered what are all the consequence?

Can we get PAN for the trust without registering?

Kindly guide me.

01 December 2016 You need to register only with commissioner of income tax. Yes you will get the PAN No. without registering with state authorities.

Thanks for your reply.

Can you kindly explain me, the registration with CIT.

We have submitted all the documents related to trust to CIT and got acknowledgement.

We have to wait for the approval or any thing else is required to be done by us.
