21 July 2017 Our company is into IT and IT enabled service where we export the services to USA and all are clients are in US so do we need to register for GST? Earlier service tax was exempted to us so do we need to register for GST? Please help. It is urgent.

21 July 2017 Ok but then how do we take the input credit in this case? We don't charge any tax to our clients. So for us it will be only output tax on whatever we purchase.

21 July 2017 Register yourself. Take all credits on your purchases related to your business. As you are engaged in export of services you will export without payment of gst and will get refund of your credits. For more details you can get faqs on exports on cbec site or you can mail me for the same.

24 July 2017 Thanks a lot. I have one more querry. There is a separate company created for gratuity trust which is just used for payments of premium and payment to employees which is received from Lic so if I take GST registration for the above company which I was talking about earlier will that same GST no be used for Gratuity trust also?
