14 July 2010 Dear Sir/ Madam,
My Query is ?
From 01.01.2010 to 20.04.2010 if we are running a propertiorship concern and got registered on 20.04.2010 as a Private limited company we have no idea about Tds deductions for the salary / others but now only we got our TAN / PAN Nos alloted. At present one of our employee has asked for Form 16 for the period 01.01.2010 to 31.03.2010. Please advise me in this regard in order to issue form 16 or a salary certificate on the company's letter head.
Please treat this matter as urgent.

14 July 2010 Since the TAN registration was not there in the period 1.1.2010 to 31.3.2010 and no TDS deduction was made from the emplyee.hence no necessary to issue TDS certificate, you can issue salary certificate only
