27 December 2013 Dear Sir/ Madam

I want to know about PF deduction rule. I know it is 12.33%. But my company is using Rs. 780.00 PF plan. They are deducting fixed amount. My company is Limited firm but not listed in the stock market.
Why they are deducting PF @ 12.36%. Is it according to Government rule or not if not than please tell me how I can make a complaint against my company.

Is your Basic is less than Rs. 6500? If yes than your employer is deducting excess amount.

PF is to be deducted @ 12 % of Basic + DA paid each month.

My basic is more than Rs 6500.00. But my question is, there is any plan for deducting PF @ fixed rate like my company is deducting Rs- 780.00 per month.
if yes than please send me the link.
if no than please tell me what action i have to take.

Yes company can restrict PF to 12% of Rs. 6500 i.e. 780/-

You can refer PF rules for this regard, where it is stated that Salary to be capped to Rs. 6500 for contributing PF.
