21 December 2011 kindly tell me the due date of payment of service tax in case of individual,partnership firm ?

21 December 2011 For Individuals/ Partnership Firms Service Tax Deposited Quarterly using GAR7

Due Dates:

April-June------5th July

July-September----5th October

October-December------5th January

January-March------31st March.

In case of Companies Service Tax Deposited Monthly using GAR7.

For companies due date is 5th of Succeeding month. For the month of march due date is 31st March.

Rate of Interest on delayed payment is 13% p.a.

21 December 2011 Plz note that,
Due Date of Payment is 6th of month,instead of 5th, if the duty is deposited electronically through internet banking.

Rate of interest is 18% w.e.f 01/04/2011. In case the turnover is less than Rs.60/- lakhs, 3% reduction is allowed in the interest rate meaning thereby it is 15%.
