29 July 2010 can we fill up nil.return if my income is not taxable....and if my income is taxable then i am eligible to fill nil return...

29 July 2010 Yes. You can file Nil return if your income is not taxable.

29 July 2010 as i have rembebred that from this year there is any circular of it department that we can not file nil return ,,but i am not sure....

Ofcourse yes. If the income is not taxable , it had to be a nil return

Now on to your 2nd question : and if my income is taxable then i am eligible to fill nil return...

If your income is taxable, how can you file a nil return ? Of course NOT.
