Regarding exemption

Dear Experts,
I got exemption in CA Final-SFM in may 2016 attempt but failed in that group...in November attempt I want to give only 2nd group. will my exemption carry forward to next 3 attempts or will lapse here itself if I'm not going to write the group in which I got exemption
kindly give me the clarification regarding this query. please do the needful asap

Your exemption will be valid for November 2016, May 2017 and November 2017 attempts. Even if you skip the attempt, you shall be eligible for exemption. But, I personally feel that you should not let go an exemption which you have secured. Not sure whether you have already taken a call to write only second group and have paid the examination fees. If you have not finalized, then would suggest you to re-think over the decision, if not, ignore it.
