20 July 2011 Hi,
Dear Sir

I have made E filing for A.Y.2009-10 amd Now i am going to Efile for A.Y.2010-11 and but i forget the Password of Incopme tax Site for Efiling and User is already created. Now what is procedure to get back the Password.

20 July 2011 Pl go to the link https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/register.do?screen=showforgotpwd
Enter PAN and click OK. Another screen appears. Enter the data asked for viz. pet name, last years ack number, NEW PASSWORD etc and click 'reset password'. Message will appear in e-mail. Activate the mail and proceed with e-filing using new password.
