Regarding deductor category in tds

Hiiiiiiiii,
I m filing TDS return of a goverment hospital in M.P. but its Deductor category in TDS is Central/State Govt. but it has registration in society.
In case of govt. deductor liability to deposit TDS upto A.Y. 2010-11 is on the day itself while in society it is 7 days of next month.
As it is though govt. hospital having its registration as society, i am confusing of its deductor category in TDS return or i have to make correction in its TAN No. by made its category as society.

My view, change of category may not possible under TAN, surrender present TAN and apply for fresh one with correct details

Thanx for your reply, i know that his tan no. will change & also ready for surrender the same, but i want to know under which category it has to be taken.

since Govt Hospital you can apply for Central/State Govt/Local Authority. that may be suitable

kk i agree but in such case rule for depositing tax till F.Y. 2009-10 is on the same day
