Regarding calital gain saving account

3 yrs bak I sold a land frm wich I have capital gain ,
so to save cap. gain I have deposited cap. gain amt to capital gain saving account so that I could invest in any land.
bt due to any reason I couldnt do so am ok that I will have to pay capital gain now
but I wud like to kno
is dere any formalities to witdraw money from that cgsa ?

Pay the tax. file return. get approval from income tax officer to close the account in Form G. give the form to the bank . they will close the a/c & give you back the money.
