Refund of tds dedcuted at superannuation amount

05 July 2015 i have received superannuation after deducting tds on same .how can i get refund of entire tds as i dont have any other source of income? should i filed only salary return n fill details in tds of tds deducted and claimed deduction of entire tds or tell other for getting tds refund

06 July 2015 kindly file the salary return and include the amount of Superannuation fund received as salary. the tax credit in excess of income-tax liability shall be refunded.

06 July 2015 no. you will only get the refund over and above the tax liability. you need to first compute the tax liability on this amount received

06 July 2015 but sir superannuation amt will be wholly exempt from tax then whether i can add directly in exempt income u/s 10? instead of including in salary

06 July 2015 depends on when you received it...there are conditions in section 10

06 July 2015 then there was no need of this query at all. isnt law simple and clear that on superannuation just follow section 10(13)
