30 April 2018 Dear Team,

During the filing the refund application, we are getting submit statement option is disable. We are not able to submit it due to refund application is pending. Please suggest further action for this.

The error "Error encountered while uploading file" during refund application submission on the GST portal usually indicates one or more of the following issues:

File Format/Size Issue
Ensure the uploaded file is in the prescribed format (usually PDF or Excel as specified).
Check the file size — it should be within the portal's allowed limit (usually under 5 MB).
Data Mismatch or Validation Errors
Sometimes the refund application won't submit if there is a mismatch between GSTR-1, GSTR-3B data, or if any mandatory fields are missing or incorrect.
Cross-verify the data entered in your refund form with your returns.
Technical Glitch / Portal Issue
Sometimes the GST portal faces downtime or glitches. Try clearing browser cache or switching to a different browser.
Retry after some time.
Pending Actions or Errors in Previous Returns
