Dear Experts,

One of my friend has short received his refund cheque and also received a letter that our AST system is not showing this amount and you are requested to send your 26AS within 15 days of receipt of this letter dated 20/05/2011.

Now I want to know from the experts that can we send 26AS now or it is too late to claim and also guide me the process for getting the balance of Refund.

14 August 2011 You have reced refund please reconcile with 26AS. if you need more refund then contact to your TDS certificate issuer to correct his tds return so you can get more refund.

15 August 2011 Sir,

I already have rectified the TDS Certificate from the issuer and now it is showing the correct amount.

Now what next I have to do.
