We had filed a return of income MANUALLY for the assessment year 2009-10, claiming a refund of Rs. 9400/- approximately. However, the Cheque for the refund was returned back to the IT department due to change in our address. Kindly suggest the procedure to get the above refund back from the IT department.

Pl write a letter to the concerned ITO stating the facts. Also apply for address change in PAN data through NSDL or UTIISL in the prescribed form / fees.
