Hi everyone i would like to take your suggestions there is a person who was wrongly reported his income in ITR for the AY 2017-18.Five Lakh instead of 50k and now he got a noticed what should he do????

He can't do anything he has to pay tax.

But he has made mistakes and I think there will be a provision for rectifcation and something elese.

Time limit for revision of return is over. Rectification can't be done for such mistakes.
