in case of Re-appointmnent of MD ,he/she is regarded as interested in that perticuler agreement, so my query is that whether the contract of re-appointment of MD should be entered in the register of contract in which directors are interested u/s 301 ?
Please reply as soon as possible , it is little urgent.

No, The Register of Contract maintain with company under section 301 is only for contract covered under section 297 and 299.
Appointment of Director covered under section 269 so as per my opinion it should be given in Register maintain under section 303 of the Companies Act, 1956.

Dear Ajaysir, i have one more query that, when the board meeting is held outside state, can 301 register be moved ? if yes then what is the procedure ? thanks
Section 157, section 163 and section 209 deal with keeping the register and return, but any section not specified for register of director, so you can take the benefit of such section and keep your register accordingly.
Section 301 specifically mentioned that Register maintain under this section will be kept at the registered office of the company and not talking about shifting of such book.
So, It will depend on you that, the company is required to shift the book or not.
