19 February 2018 I renew domain name from godady they charge me rs.1200 but did not charge igst
Whether is it fall under RCM?

19 February 2018 they would definitely charge IGST. Ask them for the the invoice.
You are not required to pay under RCM

20 July 2025 1. Is GoDaddy’s domain renewal service taxable under GST?
Services received from a foreign supplier (outside India) are considered import of services.
Import of services is taxable under GST in India under Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM).
2. Who is liable to pay GST?
You, as the recipient of the service in India, are liable to pay IGST under RCM on the domain renewal charges.
3. What if the invoice from GoDaddy does not show IGST?
Foreign suppliers generally do not charge GST/IGST because they are outside the Indian GST system.
You must self-assess and pay IGST on RCM basis for the domain renewal service received.
4. What rate of GST applies?
IGST @ 18% is generally applicable on import of services like domain registration/renewal.
5. What is your accounting and compliance responsibility?
Pay IGST on Rs. 1200 (service value) under RCM.
Claim input tax credit of IGST paid, if you have valid GST registration and the service is used for business.
Report the RCM liability and payment in your GSTR-3B and GSTR-1 returns.
