WHAT IS THE RATE OF CENTRAL EXCISE DUTY CURRENTLY ON THE GOODS FALLING UNDER CHAPTER SUB HEADING 8607. WHETHER IT IS 12.36% (INCLUDING CESS) AS PER THE BUDGET NOTIFICATION. IN THE TARIFF BOOK IT IS GIVEN AS 6% BASIC. PLEASE TELL WHETHER ANY NOTIFICATION HAS BEEN ISSUED TO REDUCE THE DUTY.
