If an Assessee has filed his return online but he didnt get tax credit of advance tax due to wrong quoting of PAN while paying advance tax online & the PAN is invalid one what is the procedure to get the advance tax credit

First of all, when PAN is invalid then how did he pay advance tax to the credit of an invalid PAN?
