16 April 2012 While filing service tax return the following query is appearing all the time : " Figures of the opening balance in the current return and the closing balance in the previous filed return do not match!!!"

Kindly update the solution for the same.

17 April 2012 Apparently it seems that there is some either rounding off error in carrying forward the closing balance from previous return in current return. Just do check whether opening balance for current return and closing balance is matching or not....

17 April 2012 but this query comes while filing every return. For example:
In the last return there is no refund & in the current return if we put zero in the opening balance column then also the same query appears.
