21 November 2014 If any company is manufacturing goods using the brand name of other company in this case company is not allowed small scale exemption ?

USING the brand name? If it is using the brand name of other company, ..example? ABC company is manufacturing hero honda using brand name of Hero Cycles???????
ABC company can not be a small scale, in that case... What is your example?

21 November 2014 if usha fans gets its fans made from other fan making units under its brand name USHA, usha fans will not be the maufacturer in this case the other fans making company is the manufacturer so they will get 150 lacs exemption?

21 November 2014 Yes. The small scale company will get the exemption. It is a case of WORKS contract wher OE manufacturer has allowed/permitted the SSI to manufacture the goods under its control.

22 November 2014 why do you think that they are using BRAND name? They are not using the brand name, they have just been permitted to manufacture the fans as per the specifications given by the OE manufacturer
