21 August 2012 An event management co. provides services to the customer. co. provides goods and services Rs.400,000 as an third party and charges 15% on this amount as an management charges.
What amount should be shown by the co. in there invoice and on which amt. service tax is to be levied by the co.

21 August 2012 When goods and services are bundled together and so billed it becomes a works contract and service tax is to be charged accordingly.

If goods are separately billable and so billed the service tax shall be on the services billed.

Commission is chargeable to service tax
