Public Provident Fund

This query is : Resolved

03 September 2008 Hey Frenz,
I have a query,in this finance bill, the finance minister has passed the limit of 80cc upto 1,00,000.But on the contrary, the Public Provident Fund Act says only Rs.70,000.So when i had deposited my two cheques of Rs.40,000 they did not accept it.
So what options do i have???

03 September 2008 OPTION IS DEPOSIT Rs.70,000/ONLY IN PPF A/C AND THE BALANCE FUNDS (MAXIMUM Rs.30,000/-)CAN BE DEPOSITED IN NSC,LIC,MUTUAL FUND ETC.

03 September 2008 cant i deposit it in ppf as it has been passed in the budget
