02 September 2011 Plz suggest - My client has joined a company in the year 2008 at Delhi where a PF a/c was opened then he has joined another company in 2009 at rajasthan and there opened a new PF a/c without close or transfer old PF a/c. Now he want to close his earier PF a/c.

Plz suggest:-
Process for withdrawal / close the PF a/c

02 September 2011 he has to get get form 19 and form 10 from old employer, put his bank details and submit to PF office where the accounts are maintained, within 3 months the amount would get credited to bank, provided the documents are in order.

02 September 2011 you have to ask the old employer to provide the forms, or you can get the forms from PF office and get it signed by old employer, with entering the relevent data.

unless the form is countersigned by employer, PF will not consider it good
