I want know last date for annual return for p.t. in karnataka form 5 some one say 31st may pls its urgent and also if less than 5000 can we return it qtrly
thks in advance
Professional tax in Karnataka on Salary or wage earners whose salary or wage or both, as the case may be, for a month is,
(a) not less than Rs.3000 but less than Rs.5000 Rs. 30 Per month
(b) not less than Rs. 5,000 but less than Rs.8,000 Rs. 60 Per month
(c) not less than Rs.8,000 but less than Rs.10,000 Rs.100 Per month
(d) not less than Rs.10,000 but less than Rs.15,000 Rs.150 Per month
(e) Rs. 15,000 and above Rs.200 Per month
The rates depend upon profession, years in the profession and the amount of income or turnover;the list is long. Check this

The lat date for professional tax will be 31st july every year as applicable to Individual last date filing return.For more details go to the following link:
