25 September 2011 can a CA who is in employment under a CA firm
apply for certificate of practice and he is
also receiving remuneration from the firm

29 September 2011 As per Councils of ICAI decision, A CA employed in a CA firm will be deemed to be CA in Practice but for limited purpose ,he can not certify and attest any documents in capacity of CAip.
SO you can very well apply for COP.
