Whether a company is liable to pay professional tax for its own,

and what is the procedure for same, means whether a company need to register somewhere to pay under that registration no. , what is the procedure for registration

12 July 2012 Yes, a company has to pay professional tax and has to take registration under professional tax act of the respective state government as the act and rules can be different in different states. Moreover not all states have the P.Tax requirement. Look for your state govt.'s website for detail information.
