How to prepare Stock statement and what is the use of it.

when we prepare Stock statement ?

what are the key observations (Bankers point of view) in Stock statement.

How to increase working capital using stock statement.

Please provide complete information relating to stock statement.

04 August 2012 Stock statement is the statement of stock held by the Company @ the end of the month.

It should be submitted to Bank generally 10th of following month.

It should be prepared last day of the month.

Stock description, category, code, qty , rate & godown etc should be stated.

Working Capital (Drawing power) is derived by using following formula.

75% (Stock+Drs-Crs for goods)
