19 January 2010 i have my ca final attempt due in may 2011( new course). how should i prepare so as to clear exam in first attempt...and also plz refer me the books n for which subjects i should take coaching and from whom in delhi

19 January 2010 BOOKS FOR CA FINAL

You may go for the following options regarding books for ca final:

For Accounts: M.P.Vijay kumar or Shukla & Agrawal along with Module And Compilation and for AS part go for D.S. Rawat

For Audit: Prakhar Sharma/Paduka/ V.K Agrawal
Note: (MP Vijay Kumar can be used for AS reference)
For Corp Law: Munish Bhandari
For Mafa: Module and Notes of Tarun Mahajan. You may also refer A.N Sridhar.
For Direct Taxes: TN Manoharan (Theory part), Circular, Notification, Amendments, case laws.
For IDT: Vandana Bangur
For MICS: Module
For Costing: Saxena and vashist or Ravi M Kishore with module

Also refer Scanners and Suggested Answer issued by ICAI for previous year exams and revised them properly.

19 January 2010 I think you should start your preperation by the complete study of scanner. Decide the preference of imp chapters. Fully prepare scanner questions along with frequently asked questions.

DT and IDT coaching from Delhi is must. MAFA + coasting also.
