Practice Income Tax

25 December 2009 i have completed my CA (Inter) & CS (Final) Group1&2 and want to practice income tax so is it necessary to get registered with the commissioner of income tax. please guide me on this matter.

26 December 2009 sir i have not completed / qualified my CA Final Exams only completed my B.com,CA (Inter), CS (Final)Gr.1&2 so can i appear on behalf of client against A.O. so please explain me how can i start my Income Tax Practice

28 December 2009 You can appear before A. O. only and not before CIT(A) & ITAT or higher levels even if you have not completed your CA. You can file returns for peoples but you cannot sign any audit report. You can practice as an income tax consultant but not as a CA

please what is procedure to practice Income Tax. please even clarify that if i had completed my CS(Final) then its possible to appear before CIT
