Please help- urgent- delay in submitting form 103

i registered for articles on oct 10 and submitted form 103 on dec 12 . i paid the required fee of 300 but i did not submit any condonation letter. the reason for delayed submission is that i was on leave till December 10th for preparing for group 2 examinations and also i was sick during the period. I was not sure of the exact registration requirements. can icai reject my articles registration.?
please can someone help me.? i am really worried cause i want to complete ca course as early as possible.
also, please tell me what to give as reason for delayed submission.? will icai accept this reason? should i take a medical certificate from the local doctor?
should i submit any other documents to icai as well?
please help - urgent!!.
