if a member of icai want to do ph.d. , then what would be the requirement of icai that has to be followed by the member?

Its just like an additional course so id the person is still doing article ship then he will be required to take permission of ICAI for doing the additional course otherwise I think ICAI has no interference.

Agreed with Archana. Even CA is recognized as eligible to Ph.D in many number of unversities. Check ICAI site for the list.

Agree.. but you need to check whther CA is eligible or not as its difficult to say whether it is post grad degree or not... Mcom is definately yes but for CA i m doubtful.
