PF, Basic salary Reduce

Hello All,
My company has decided to cut the 10% salary of all employees, now the challenge is, those employees, basic salary is 6500.00, we have to deduct their PF is 780.00 but now their basic salary is 5850.00 so their PF is 702.00
But as per PF law you can’t reduce the Basic salary. Senior please suggest me what I need to do.

"as per PF law you can’t reduce the Basic salary" i did not heard of any such law. as per my knowledge there is minimum slary limit for deduction of PF but PF act can not decide what shoudl be the minimum salary
