Please guide me what are the documents required for claiming Tax benefits u/sec.80C.
For e.g LIC receipt is in the name of Spouse and wife is claiming for tax rebate u/sec 80c. So as a proof LIC receipt is sufficient and declaration from spouse that he is not claiming for tax rebate will do or payment proof is also required ?

LIC receipt itself is the PAYMENT PROOF. (Hope you are NOT confusing LIC Receipt with LIC demand letter) The declaration as said by you would be additional security point....But as an EMPLOYER, try to take due care and NOT EXTRA care. At times, taking declaration as aforesaid may amount to EXTRA care.

as the assesse you have fill only amount. if you are employer then you have to collect the investment proof all the employee who claim the deduction u/s 80C
