i have a doubt in payment of vat.
i am a dealer staying at TamilNadu and registered under TNVAT. i purchased some goods from Vadodra by paying CST @ 2%. i sold the goods to a person at TamilNadu by raising an invoice with VAT @ 5%. i am going to issue C Form to the person to whom i purchased goods. my threshold limit is less than 10 lakhs. should i need to pay vat?

U/S 10 of Act, there is no threshold limit if purchase from Interstate dealers against C Form. So, you have to pay VAT at the rate specified in Act.
