03 March 2014 Assesse's Name in PAN Card is CORRECT as "Dipu Das".

But wrong in Income Tax Data Base as "Dipu Nalini Das".

What procedure should be followed to correct at IT Database?

03 March 2014 well remember that Income-tax department does allow shorter name to be printed on PAN card. So it is possible that Full name may be Dipu Nalini Das and print on Pan Card may be Dipu Das

However, if the name actually, as per other documents, is Dipu Das, then file PAN correction Form

03 March 2014 Sir, actual name is "Dipu Das" as per other document. but the form is for correction of data in PAN Card and not in IT Database (make me correct if i am wrong).

03 March 2014 IT database is nothing but PAN data only.
