Opting for composition scheme from normal gst scheme

15 April 2019 My client was registered under normal tax structure of gst. We opted for composition scheme wef 1/4/19. But my client got a message that the earlier registration has been cancelled wef 30/6/17. We are yet to file return for mar-19 and then we will submit the statement of ITC (for change to composition scheme). Will I able to submit march return, now that the earlier registration has been cancelled?

15 April 2019 Your registration was wrongly cancelled. Seek for restoration of registration contact your jurisdiction GST official.
Registration will not be cancelled for opting composition scheme.

15 April 2019 Ok sir. Now when I logged in & checked on gst portal (filing returns page) its showing that 1/7/17-31/3/19 normal scheme & 1/4/19-15/4/19 composition scheme

15 April 2019 Good GST people has done right thing. What you said will not happen.
