13 June 2011 Dear friends, one of my friends have the resturent in which is proprietor, now he want to open a current account, but all of the bank's are asking for any registration documents with Govt. like Service Tax, Sales Tax, ESI, PF, but he has not registered his proprietorship firm with any of them, now what he has to do for opening the account ?, is there is any department who register proprietorship concern in Delhi, if yes than whater & what is the formalities to complete for that. Waiting for reply. Thnkz in advance.

14 June 2011 There may be a system of issuing Trade Licence in Delhi. If it is there you may try that. Otherwise enrol your firm for professional tax.
