A company is doing the business of software development in India. The customers and the operational channel for the company are outside India The company is planning to do its operations from Australia.
For this purpose, please advice whether
1. a new company should be formed in Australia OR
2. The company should open a branch in Australia.
What will be the procedures to be followed.

The answer shall shall depend on the requirements of the Indian company , Australian income Tax Law and also the provisions of India-Australia DTAA .
