Numbering in sales invoices for fy 2022-2023

We want to start numbering from 101/22-23 for fy 2022-2023 . In fy 2021-2022 we have started from 1/21-22.Will there be any issues from gst side? Can we start numbering from 101 as per gst law?

Yes, you can modify as per your convenience, no issue from GST department.

Should the serial no be consecutive or we can issue bills by breaking serial nos.

For ease of recording & or reprocessing it, it is always advisable to issue in serial. For GST complacence, there is no such bar.
