I want to ask that my friend is living in US since last one year and he want to file income tax in india then whose sign can i take on ITR form he is salaried person and also give me the information of other formalities

13 October 2010 The individual himself has to be signed the return of Income. Alternatively, in his absence in India, the said return form can be signed by any other person on the strength of a valid power of Attorney and that shall be produced if called upon on a proper notice.
