28 August 2009 I will appear for MY CA FINAL EXAM in NOv, 2010.
whether the following is applicable for me.

1. Good and service tax
2. FBT
3. IFRS

31 August 2009 With regard to CA Fianl Exams, Nov-2010, FBT may not be applicable, as Finance Act(no.2) 2009, has abolished it. But notification / announcement yet to come from the ICAI. In respect of GST the ICAI will notify it as a change in the IDT Laws Syllabus, later. Finally in respect of IFRS a they will come in to effect from Apr,2011 , they mwy not be applicable for you.

22 September 2009 i agree with Ms.Yadagiri you should keep in touch with recent amendments bcoz i think GST will be applicable for Nov.2010.

FBT has been abolished in the budget. that`s why even for May 2010 it will not be applicable.

1. FBT IS ABOLISHED & NOT APPLICABLE TO UR NOV EXAMS
2 GST (GOODS & SERVICE TAX ) IS ALSO NOT APPLICABLE , SINCE ITS APPLICATION IS NOT YET CONFIRMED
3 IFRS , MAY BE APPLICABLE , WHICH MAY BE APPLICABLE PARTIALLY , LIKE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN GAAPS & IFRS

08 October 2009 Almost agree with the opinion of CA CN Patil.
regarding IFRS: IFRS will also not be applicable but most of the Indian GAAP will change according to IFRS in between and you should keep pace with them.
