What is the minimum time period for giving a notice to call AGM of Pvt. Ltd. co, ?

20 September 2010 As per section 171 read with section 53 you have to give 21 days clear notice to call an AGM of shareholders.

Days of dispatch of notice and day of meeting will be excluded from the above 21 days.

So maintain a clear gap of at least 23 days between date of dispatch and day of meeting.

20 September 2010 Agreed. But minimum period can be less than 21 days provided consent is accorded by all the members entitled to vote thereat and the AOA contains an article to that effect.
