Dear Experts,
We had received a letter from income tax office for linking of large value transaction to a valid PAN in Company "A". due to some clerical mistake we had made online response from Company "B" login ID.
Now what will we do?

go to company A log in... and check the URL...PENDING ACTION

The notice is received by Company A.
You checked "pending action" under the log in of Company A
There is nothing in "pending action"
So... Your job is done.....
and on top of that you have replied the same from Company B.... I think it is more than sufficient.

Amol ji, sorry, I am confused.... because we had made online response from other company i,e. "Company B" and the Response Sheet shown PAN of "Company B". it means we accepted that this transaction is relates to "Company B" BUT ACTUALLY ITS RELATES TO "COMPANY A".

Thanks Amol ji, if you have any idea for revising the response because in the letter ITD has mentioned it "In case you make a mistake in submission of response, you may further revise it by login to e-filing portal".

under "e file" pop up (Next to My account) ...... check the various options.....
if it is there, well and good..... else report this physically to the ward of your jurisdiction.

Thanks Amol ji for your valuable suggestions & time, I think we had made it. We had revise it in "Company B" through submitting online response "No such transaction was conducted" and making correct online response through "Company A" login ID.
