Non filling of return

What are the consequences for non filling of gst return in case business has not yet started and is discontinued from last year October.
Gst registration was done in July and business was closed in October but gst certificate was not surrender. Nor any return has been filled....
Now I have received notice for non filling of gst return... What should I do?
Higher amount of fine is coming if I start filling for November month...

What should I do?
- File Your GSTR with late fee. After go to Cancel the Registration.

If you start filing again then you have to pay all late fees of previous month.
Kindly apply on line cancellation of registration,mention reason " closure of business" ARN will be generated, reply to the dept and given reference of ARN no.relax

GSTIN can be cancel.
But, It is not approved before filing of balance returns and Outstanding Liability like "LATE FEE".
