More than 1 pan

X is having two PANs one of the PAN is cancelled by the deparment, however the PAN which is cancelled is having TDS and assessee has filed returns on that PAN, now how to get the tds back for that cancelled PAN and the tds is belonging to 5 years old...

I will suggest you to contact with the authority issuing to restore the PAN and such other matter, because a person can not hold two PAN.

Assessee is ready to give up the second PAN...and he has not at all used that PAN.. department would have cancelled that PAN which he is not using the PAN,,,
